Dianes face rr block

I am in a round robin at CQI (Crazy Quilting International). This particular rr, focus' on faces. Diane likes art noveau so I googled and found the artist Mucha who does some phenomenal work! I choose this particular image and here is how she translated for me!

OMG - that is just incredible! Besides the fact that I love Alphonse Mucha and Art Nouveau, you've done a fantastic job of embellishing the young lady (is that a silk print attached to a polyclay face - or ???? Really captures the feel of the era. GOAJUS!!! Hugs, Cat

You've captured the essence of Noveau perfectly--Alphons would be jealous! Love the purple flowers on the bodice--how are they worked? Marvelous piece! Lynn, SoCal

Leslie, I've got this beauty sitting right in front of me and can't stop staring it it! I had to show some of my friends the beautiful work you do - they are soooo in awe and asked me "why don't you just keep it?" LOL! I wish.... Just gorgeous!
