I am in a rr at Crazy Quilting International, and this is my completed work on a block for Gerry! She wanted a Moulin Rouge type feel....lots of gold and glitz.....hopefully I gave her enough! LOL!! Enjoy Gerry!

Debbie's block
Getting projects done! YEAH!!! This is the work I did on a block of a friend in Maine! Isn't this little girl great??? I love this pic! I kept my work fairly subdued and even managed to not encrust...(I think)! I dyed the lace bits then highlighted them with beads.... there is SRE on the fan blades...a button trail of some of my g'ma's old vintage buttons and...fly stitch lace, etc! I hope Debbie enjoys it!

Ritas block
This is the second block I stitched for a rr in our novice group at CQI. This is Rita's block and will be going home! I did the birde houses and dimensional flower vine, the border above the button trail, the dandelions floating on the left hand side, roses on the upper left corner, the seam below the fan and the butterflies below the fan! Can't wait to hear what Rita thinks!
Rosa's block
This is Rosa's block in our Novice group at CQI. I am the RR Angel for this go round and go to add a few touches here! I did the dimensional butterfly in the top left corner, the sunflowers and two borders on the right upper corner, the fly stitch variation on the middle seam and the fly stitch variation on the lower left seam! I hope Rosa enjoys the block when it gets home!
CQI Purse Contest Entry
This is a purse I made for the CQI purse contest. My primary objective was to fool folks....I didn't expect it to win as its not cq'd! LOL! The dragon fly's are vintage buttons, beads and dimensional embroidery. The purse itself is felt and the fobrders and tab closure are ultra suede. The button on the tab is also vitage buttons! Enjoy!
